I was planning on revealing a lot about his history as the comic progressed, but.. ya know.. I draw as slow as a turtle... so.. SPOILERS(?)

First name meaning - Ayan word cinón "gone" and -thus, a popular ending for boy's names
Last name meaning - Unofficially adopted Wyverian owner's surname. He chose this when registering for the Hunter's Guild.

Birth dates weren't typically recorded for slave infants.

        Chained down in (hot) Elder Dragon's blood for up to one hour- punishment for the act stealing/kidnapping against Wyverians...

Overheard her after she completed a Mushroom hunting quest. Since she didn't know the burn mark was a rapist's mark, she treats him like a person. Because of this she's the only person he has he can call a friend.

-Jumbo Village Chief (Now just 'Chief')
Cino was at His Immenseness's court along with the Chief when he was given the task to fend off a Black Fatalis. Cino and Chief won't meet again for many years until he arrived in Jumbo Village with Inko. Cino once bedded Chief's coworker, the Guild Sister, resulting in complications. Since then he goes great lengths to avoid the Chief.

As Captain of the Guild Knights, Cino reported to His Immenseness. They were on acceptable terms until the granddaughter incident.

Childhood.
Born into slavery on Aya Island during an era when slavery was still legal. This practice continued until His Immenseness forcibly annexed Aya Island and abolished the practice.

Adolescence.
He was sold a few times to different establishments, mostly whore houses where he did manual labor and sometimes became the 'product' for some customers. He endured this until he was 16 and became too big to control.  

Adulthood
Cino was 16 when the Wyverian's attempt to annex the island finally succeeded. Slavery was abolished, although he was captured by pirates and shipped off to the main land (Old Country) and purchased by a less-than-affluent Wyverian with a shady background. His Master forced him to fight small monsters, and then forced into the Fighting Arena (with a forged Guild id card). At 18 years old, a mysterious Felyned name Felcote noticed Cino in the arena and used her influence to remove him and investigate the shady Wyverian master.  Cino was hired as a Guild Knight where he quickly ascended ranks to become Captain.

Since the Hunter's Guild had thousands of competent Hunters and the reinvigorated Guild Knights at their disposal-- leagues of wild territory were reclaimed and many smaller provinces and villages were annexed the same way his home Aya island was. This continued until Cino met the boss's grand daughter. When he refused to bed her she accused him attempted rape. This is very serious crime against Wyverians so he was sentenced to death by the outdated punishment of drinking Elder Dragon's Blood. This symbolized their 'dragon ancestors will pass a true judgement'.  He survived the ordeal, although it left him with constant pain and permanent internal damage.

Hobbies.
When he's not master baiting, he takes slight enjoyment in reading and writing. Although his writing attempts are still childish due to his early years of stunted education.

Organizations.
Previously was part of the Hunter's Guild but is now exiled from all Guild-held provinces. It's difficult to find work so he takes occupations from those who will hire him. Mostly these are illegal jobs such as poaching, smuggling, pirating etc.

Social Life.
A life of sexual acquaintances, burned bridges and loneliness. He takes comfort in having Inkoseh's constant companionship.

Alternative Lifestyles.
Due to his myriad ailments, he's resorted to narcotics obtained from illegal methods
