Hi all~
Heads up! Long post! TLDR at the bottom
For those of you who know, I've been sort of inactive the past few years - other than the occasional drawing. Sometimes I may have missed questions or comments, so I'm sorry for those I should have responded to in the past. I'm trying to change by becoming more active in the Monster Hunter / DA art community in general! I'm watching a few clubs, commenting more and wouldn't mind to get to know some of you.
In the past, it was fairly difficult for me to spend much time online, especially after joining a hectic workforce, suffering through commute and having most weekends booked. For the longest time I was just in work-work-work-mode, and had my creativity sapped to the bare bones. It didn't help that I was going through some medical issues which left me tired and fatigued. This was especially depressing and draining on me. I'm much better now, (after changing my diet). And with the advent of new and juicy technology, I have new ways to express my artistic side and am better able to keep track of things online.
To help encourage and speed up my creative process, I went and got a tablet screen (Cintiq) and recently a portable tablet, this way I can draw even when I'm not home. Hopefully this will please some of my fellow Hunters and help me develop as an artist.
With that being said, Monster Hunter, my favorite video game of all time, is still a small niche in the west and I wanted to keep the fandom alive by posting more 'I Want to be a Monster Hunter!' comics in faster successions. Previously, I oftentimes would wait months and months (and even a year) before posting the next one. I'm sorry for those who are long-time watchers. I appreciate your patience and love every one of you. I found that I thoroughly enjoy drawing these comic strips so will continue to do so as long as I'm able.
Concerning 'IWTBAMH', some of you may have noticed that I've gradually shifted from short, random hunts+random humor to something a little slower with more (cough)story(cough). But don't worry~ I will still keep the humorous, light-hearted, happy-go-lucky feel of the comic. I've just made this decision because I love, Love, LOVE the lore and history in the Monster Hunter universe. I wanted my comic to give MH lore more of a chance to shine through and flesh out a world most of us don't even know exists. RinOkami was great enough to point me to some tidbits, and Azophel has an amazing MH Map that I adore looking at.
In conclusion, thanks for reading / watching me and always keep hunting!
For those who want to keep up with my other shenanigans, I have a (s)Tumblr page here: INKOSEH
TLDR
Sorry I didn't answer your messages the past 5 years. I'm trying to be a better person and artist. Going to start posting comics more quickly. I love MH lore and you should too! Thanks!
Missing picture
*Edit*
A couple of my Kelbidrome images that sat in my gallery with no problem for 10 years were for some reason removed. There was no copyright issue that I knew of and I didn't get a notification as to why. I don't care much at the fact that they're gone - I have the original images backed up, I'm just wondering why they were removed. :/
Editing my existing comics
I'm just writing to inform anyone who cares that I'm going to go back and edit some of my old comics. I've already changed the first chapter to be a little more welcoming to new readers. So, if you see any changes, that's why. The reason why...
1) To make them consistent with the MH universe (one of the characters mentioned he was Mexican etc)
2) Correct spelling errors
2) Condense some dialogue and make it a bit more politically correct... lol
3) Redraw/Color some of the really crappy chapters
Other than that.. I'm still playing offline on MHGeneration.. T_T
DA get-together for MHGenerations (edited)
(EDIT)
I'd like to correct some information from my last journal post! When I said MHX, I really meant MH Generations! I know it doesn't come out for a few more months but thought I'd ask just to prepare.
Now I was wondering, does anybody know if there's a group or forum somewhere dedicated to fellow artists (and art lovers!) to find a party to hunt with? I'd like to meet new people, and would appreciate hunting with (gentle and nice) peeps. :P
- Is there a way to make a personal DeviantArt forum for the purpose of connecting with others?
- Or should I use Capcom Unity Forum? Reddit? Is IRC still a thing?
Opening comissions (medical bills)
Yo, how's everyone doing? I'm working hard, but trying to find time to enjoy the little things. :D
Next month is a very special month for me and I need to save up as much as I can. Unfortunately, I'm starting to get a pile of medical bills for you-know-what recurrence check-ups, and even though I pay health insurance, I still need to cover this crazy deductible and co insurance. ;(
I'll be opening commissions to try to cover as much of these bills as I can. So, those who're interested in a commission, please check out the info below!
And as always, if you like my posts, or feeling exceptionally generous and would like to support your frie

Well, we are quite glad you are feeling better! Your comics are awesome, and all of us thoroughly enjoy reading them! We've been kinda lax on pushing out our comics, seeing as the group hasn't had time to discuss them and how we wanted to proceed with them. Not to mention, Rikku, our only illustrator, has been mad busy, so we know them feels. Anyways, thanks again for the update, and we look forward to any new comics you make in the future!
Best Regards,
